DINA K. STEELE: I became an attorney because I wanted to help people. When I get a new case, I don't look at it as simply a money-making venture. I look at it as an individual person who has gone through a very traumatic event. And I have an opportunity to help them and to try to make them as whole as possible after they have been injured.

I practice all areas of personal injury. But the firm does have a special emphasis on auto accidents and motorcycle accidents as well as big truck accidents.

I was injured in an automobile accident in 2002. And it's difficult to deal with. And I think it's really hard to understand how difficult that truly is if you've not been through it yourself. If a client is to call a large law firm or perhaps one of the television attorneys that they see, they're very likely to be assigned to a case manager. That is a buzzword for non-attorney. And it's very likely that throughout the course of their case they never have direct contact with an attorney.
